“For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order to bring you to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit.”

Easter is full of exciting family moments in the life of Aspen Ridge Church.

This year, we’ll have three Easter services:

  • Saturday at 5:00 PM
  • Sunday at 9:00 AM
  • Sunday at 10:30 AM

Our theme for Easter is a reminder that Jesus rose again from the dead in order to bring us to God, the source of eternal life. The theme of Jesus’ transfer from death to life is illustrated by Noah’s ark safely passing through the waters of judgment, which is also illustrative of the Christian ordinance of baptism. Aspen Ridge will celebrate baptisms during our Easter weekend services, a reminder of our union with Christ’s victory over death and resurrection to new life.

(If you would like to participate in these baptisms, you are asked to attend an orientation meeting. We will have these meetings on Saturday, March 30 at 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 31 at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 6 at 4:00 PM and Sunday, April 7 at 6:00 PM.)

On Easter weekend, we will also kick off Saturday morning, April 20, with the annual MOPS Hop, sponsored by our Mothers of Preschoolers group. At 10:00 AM, kids will begin scouring the campus for plastic, treat-filled eggs. The hunt is broken up into age groups for the safety and benefit of all. Following this exciting event, a free brunch with the bunny will be available in the building. This year, we’re planning on over 3,000 eggs!
