Children's Groups

Aspen Ridge Church has a thriving children’s ministry in our KidZone with several avenues to help your child grow in faith while having a great time!

Weekend Classes

are offered for children by loving, mature teachers, who prepare lessons for the children. These lessons involve a devotional or story time, a fun activity and a craft to stimulate their hungry minds. The KidZone is a nut-free area for the safety of our allergic kids.

During this pandemic, Children’s Ministry weekend classes will require pre-registration online as well as a health screening upon entering the KidZone. There is a form for parents to fill out and a no touch temperature check will be done on each child to be sure we have a safe environment. Masks are required and may be removed when children are seated and distanced.

For each weekend, please pre-register your children after Wednesday HERE or text KidZone to 720.724.8881

is a program for preschool through 6th grade that meets Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00 PM during the school year. (Middle school and high school AWANA programs are also supported.) AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen are not Ashamed,” taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. The goal is to reach children with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him.  Each club night offers a fun-filled game program, Bible memorization and a speaker for kids, along with songs and special music. Awards are earned for activities and memorization completed. AWANA begins after the weekly family dinner served at 5:30 PM. To find out more about AWANA itself, you can visit their site here.

Vacation Bible School

is hands-down the most fun week of a child’s summer!  VBS is for preschool through 5th grade and is offered every summer for one week in June.

Special Events

are periodically held throughout the year for families with children in the community. It is important for us to reach our neighbors with a loving hand and welcome them to join us! Some ways we do this are through fall festivals, egg hunts at Easter and summer picnics! Please drop in any time — we look forward to meeting you!

If you have any questions, please feel free contact the church office or Debbie Stewart, Director of Children’s Ministries, or just stop by at the KidZone station downstairs on Sunday morning.

Pizza Party! Pizza Party!

Pizza Party! Pizza Party!

Hands down, or should I say greasy hands down, my favorite food in college was Pizza. I bet you I ate it a least 4 times a week, every week. And it never got old.  Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion—I loved it all except for that evil Hawaiin Pizza with ham and...
