MESSAGE NOTES
Conversion is a Process
Acts 26:18
Dr. Jeffrey Clark
The Big Idea: Approach conversion, and spiritual conversations, as a process.
Conversion is a process.
Hebrews 11:13-16
John 4:36,38
1 Corinthians 3:6
Mark’s Gospel
Approaching spiritual conversations.
How are we building redemptive relationships with persons still on the way to faith?
How can you help someone take the next step in their spiritual journey?
Where do you see God at work in your circles of influence?
In what way do we adorn the gospel message with an attractive personal countenance?
When can you serve others such that you win the right to be heard?
Quick Review: Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you?
My Story: Do you agree that conversion is a process? In what way has your conversion been a process?
Digging Deeper:
1) Review and assess the biblical evidence behind the assertion that conversion is a process. What is the strongest and most helpful evidence to that end?
2) What are some ways you can identify that God is at work in your relationships?
3) Discuss the difference between an evangelist and a spiritual coach.
4) How are you maintaining long-term relationships in your life with those who are spiritually searching?
Taking It Home: Index cards are available in the worship folder this weekend. Take a few moments to list five family members, friends or fellow workers who may not (yet) know Jesus as Savior and Lord. Place this index card in a place that will remind you to pray for these individuals daily.
NEWCOMERS RECEPTION
We would love to meet you at our Welcome Center in the lobby and share a gift and available opportunities. Our Pastoral team would also love to meet you and will linger in the front after the services to this end. You may let us know you were here by using a Communication Card found in our worship folder. We receive these in containers on tables in the Celebration Center.
BENEVOLENT OFFERING
This weekend is an opportunity to contribute to the Benevolent Fund, which is used for our church family and community members in times of need. If you wish to contribute, you may give your gift on the way out of the service today.
ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP AND MOVIE NIGHT
Aspen Ridge Church will host a movie night on Saturday, February 11 featuring the Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC) movie CAMP (PG-13) to share the difficult and heartwarming story of foster children attending the camp. The movie will begin at 6:30 PM after everyone has gotten their soup from Soup’er Saturday. We are partnering with RFKC to bring 40 kids to camp from July 30-August 4, 2023 and have many opportunities to serve. Please join us to learn more about this camp and ways to serve!
SPIRITUAL CONVERSATIONS
Most of us are familiar and comfortable with conversations. What are spiritual conversations? These are conversations about purpose in life, assurance, relationships and traditions. They involve talking about what really matters, including faith, hope and love. In spiritual conversations, we talk about God and His ways. We invite you to a series called Spiritual Conversations. We will use the next few months to talk about what they are, how important they are and how to initiate/sustain these.
BAPTISM WEEKEND
Our next baptism will be on Easter weekend, April 8/9. We will provide baptism orientation meetings, with the expectation that someone getting baptized will attend at least one. These meetings will be held on March 8 at 6:45 PM, March 11 at 4:00 PM or March 15 at 5:00 PM. If you are interested, please fill out a communication card or call the church office.

REDISCOVER CHURCH
Thank you for generous giving to the Rediscover Church initiative. This initiative relates to supporting a new church plant in our neighboring community Indian Hills.
