The Big Idea: Remain in Jesus that you may bear fruit abundantly.

The _________________ in fruit-bearing is simply “remain,” v. 4.

NEWCOMERS WELCOME

We would love to meet you at our Welcome Center in the lobby and share a gift and available opportunities. Our Pastoral team would also love to meet you and will linger in the front after the services to this end. You may let us know you were here by using a Communication Card found in our worship folder. We receive these in containers placed on tables in the Celebration Center.

FAMILY WEEKEND SERVICES

We are celebrating Family Services this weekend (December 24/26), Children are invited to attend service with their families. Our Children’s Director, Debbie Stewart will invite the children to the front for a lesson at the Christmas Eve services. The children will receive a gift coming into the Christmas Eve service and there will be coloring sheets and crayons available on Sunday, 12/26. Our Nursery for children two years old and under will be available on Friday, 12/24 and Sunday, 12/26. We are excited to have this special time of worship with families.

SATURDAY NIGHT NURSERY

We are relocating our nursery during Saturday evening services to the KidZone. All infants and children are welcome so please join us downstairs in room 110.

“LOOK UP” SERIES BEGINNING JANUARY 8/9

Aspen Ridge Church will begin a new series on the book of Revelation entitled “Look Up.” It is widely agreed that we live in difficult times marked by uncertainty. In addition, we need perspective on our place in history. This series will describe the kingdom we are moving toward and will one day inherit and will explain just what the future will hold. We want to personally invite you and a friend to this new series.

BAPTISM WEEKEND

Aspen Ridge Church is hosting baptism services the weekend of January 29/30. If you are interested, please plan on attending an orientation meeting for baptism. We will offer such meetings on Wednesday, January 5 at 6:30 PM, Saturday, January 8 at 4:00 PM or Saturday, January 15 at 4:00 PM. These meetings will be in Pastor Jeff’s office, Room #204. Please call the church office with your selection of a meeting time and bring your Bible!

POSITION AVAILABLE

We are looking for a dependable person wanting to make $25/hour shoveling the snow off the sidewalks at the church. This will require having the walks cleared by 7:30 AM each time we receive snow. Please contact Jack Wealing at jackwealing@gmail.com or 219.863.2760.

SOUP’ER SATURDAYS

Please join us for Soup’er Saturdays on the second Saturday evening of each month. This is a time of food and fellowship after the Saturday evening service.

MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS)

Moms, bring your preschoolers and join us on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 9:15-11:15 AM. 

BIBLE STUDY FOR ALL

Come join us to study Hebrews and Daniel on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30 PM with non-denominational classes for women, men and children. Our classes will resume on January 12. 

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER

Please join us on Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30 PM for fellowship and a delicious meal served in our Celebration Center The cost is $3/person and $10/family. We will resume our serving schedule on January 5, after the Christmas break. 

AWANA; BECAUSE KIDS MATTER TO GOD

AWANA is a program for preschool through grade 6 that meets during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM. Each club night offers a fun-filled game program, Bible memorization and a speaker for kids along with songs and special music. Our program will resume on Wednesday, January 5, we would love to meet you there. 

DV8 STUDENT MINISTRIES

Students, please join us for Middle School DV8 student meetings on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM and High School DV8 student meetings on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 PM to have fun and study God’s Word together. We will resume our meetings on January 5/6.

THE BRIDGE

On Sunday, January 30 from 4:00-6:30 PM we will host a session of “The Bridge.” This meeting is for people wanting to know all about Aspen Ridge, its ministries, small groups and more. If you are interested in attending, please call the church office to RSVP or note your interest on the communication card! Childcare/dinner are provided.
