Quick Review: Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you?

My Story: Have you experienced that initial, saving work of Jesus?

Digging Deeper:

  1. What kind of evidence would indicate that God is at work in your life?
  2. What would you consider significant “signposts” of God’s work over the entire scope of your past?
  3. Have those signposts involved just you and God? Which of those signposts involved other people (like your small group)?
  4. What would you like to see, in terms of God’s work in your life? Are those expectations of divine evidence reasonable? Biblical? Would you be willing to change your expectations if God, via His Spirit or His Word, convicted you to do so?

We welcome Earl Waggoner as our speaker this weekend. Earl is an elder, small group leader and a member of our preaching team. We want to extend a special welcome to visitors and guests, and we invite you to an informal reception immediately following our worship service. Earl will meet you at the Welcome Center, where you can also receive a special gift when you turn in a Communication Card.

Last weekend, our church leadership made a survey available regarding preferences for Sunday worship times. The times proposed that received the most equal support were 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. In light of this, we will offer Sunday morning services at those times beginning September 9.
