DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

Quick Review: Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you?

My Story: Have you been rescued from the ultimate fatal fall of guilt, sin and death?

Digging Deeper😐

  1. What does repentance mean to you? Did you ever have erroneous, pre-conceived ideas about that concept, which were corrected by Scripture? Does a dramatic sense of repentance (like when you were rescued) have a place in day-to-day Christian living?
  2. What are your beliefs about baptism? Have you ever had to defend those beliefs? Was it difficult for you to follow through with the actual experience of baptism?
  3. Of the two gifts given to you at your rescue, which one meant more: forgiveness of sins or the gift of the Holy Spirit? What do each of those gifts mean to you right now?
  4. If you have been rescued from the ultimate fatal fall, how did that happen? Share your story!

We are excited to have this special time of worship with families!

PARENT/CHILD DEDICATION WEEKEND
