Quick Review: Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you?

Digging Deeper:

  1. When you tell the smaller story about yourself, how is God saturated in it?

  2. How is God saturated in your speech?

  3. When in the past week could/should God have been the center of your thinking?

  4. How can you make God’s greatness more central to your thinking during the day?

  5. What changes do I need to make daily to make Him more of a focal point in my thinking?

We welcome Stephen Miller as our guest speaker this weekend. Stephen and Ann been missionary partners with us for over 38 years. Serving for 48 years in the mission field, they are now mentoring and coaching future missionaries for God’s kingdom.

We want to extend a special welcome to visitors and guests, and we invite you to an informal reception immediately following our worship service. Pastor Jeff will meet you at the Welcome Center, where you can receive a special gift when you turn in a Communication Card.

Aspen Ridge received a 98% favorable vote to extend a call to Lawrence Pridmore as Associate Pastor of Worship Arts. Lawrence and his family have accepted this call and are targeting a starting date in mid-November. We are full of expectancy and faith that God will move in powerful ways through Pastor Lawrence and our church family in the coming months and years! Please keep them in your prayers as they make this transition.

Soup’er Saturdays are back the first Saturday of each month following the evening service, beginning on November 3. If you are interested in joining this soup’er fun ministry, reach out to Jodie Cates at [email protected] to be added to the list. We are looking to add to our soup makers, setup/ clean-up crew and bringers of desserts and soup sidekicks.

If you have recently begun attending Aspen Ridge Church, you are welcome to join us for our Newcomers Eat and Greet event on Sunday, November 11 at 3:00 PM at Pastor Jeff and Mary’s home, 7183 Pinewood Drive in Evergreen. This is a great time to get to know the staff at the church, as well as others who are new to our church family. Please contact the church office to RSVP.

Get ready to make an impact in a child’s life! We will be filling boxes with school supplies and toys to send to a child who may never have received a gift. The shoebox will also send the good news of Jesus. Boxes are available in the lobby and must be returned no later than Sunday, November 11.

Mark your calendars for an Aspen Ridge outreach on the night of October 31. We will transform our regular Wednesday night gathering into an outdoors event meant to serve our neighbors in the form of decorated vehicles and candy. Opportunities to sign up for trunks are available in the lobby as we reach toward our goal of 40 trunks! Candy donations will also be accepted in the lobby.

Coffee Ministry Team is looking for additional members. This is a low commitment role with huge returns…happy, smiling faces on Saturday nights or Sunday mornings. Please contact Jean Kelly for more information at 303.506.4827 or [email protected]
