For years now Aspen Ridge Church has been blessed with the opportunity to hire ministry apprentices who serve and support various full time staff. These individuals, often times, are unsung heroes working behind the scenes to make sure the weekly services and outreach events are firing on all cylinders.
The Worship Arts department at Aspen Ridge is happy to announce that we have hired Ryan Glaser as the new Worship Arts Apprentice. Ryan has already been serving on the weekend worship teams for the past 6 months. Recently, he has been playing every-other weekend on drums. But now, he is stepping up to help with setup, tear down, technical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, playing other instruments and leading occasional worship sets. He also has a diverse background in music to assist Aspen Ridge and Pastor Lawrence.
Ryan is engaged to Katrina Atkinson, a member of Aspen Ridge, and his full-time job is currently at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The right personality and skill set is a hard thing to find in a person to qualify them for the “apprentice position.” But I am happy to say that Ryan has both the passion and servant’s heart to make him the right fit for this ministry at such a time as this.
Make sure you join with us in welcoming him to the team when you see him at church in the coming weeks.
