Dear Friend of Aspen Ridge Church,
Greetings and I trust you are well! Our significant snowfall is now giving way to long days and warmer temperatures. There is something about Memorial Day weekend that marks the beginning of a fantastic season in the mountains. I hope you are enjoying God and His creation, full of matchless beauty and delight.
This weekend marks the beginning of our “Summer Schedule,” which now includes two weekend worship services (rather than three). We will continue our Saturday Night service at 5:00 PM and merge our Sunday morning services into one at 10:00 AM. I hope you will plan on connecting with us this weekend as we are ready to celebrate five baptisms!
There may be an additional way you can serve the mission and outreach of our church. The trends for our Sunday morning service(s) tell us we will be approaching full attendance, despite expanding seating into rows. However, we do have room on Saturday nights. If your schedule allows, would you consider joining our Saturday night service which will help us make sure we have seats available for neighbors and friends on Sunday morning?
Next weekend (June 5) our Middle School students will embark on a camp experience. Last weekend Pastor Kreg introduced an opportunity to sponsor students for camp, which includes providing snacks and prayers. I am pleased to report that all our students have been sponsored. Further, Debbie Stewart indicated that 119 children have signed up for Vacation Bible School. This is a great start, and we have room for many more. Would you pray that God would empower our church in ministry toward children and students? We invest in families so the generation to come may know the treasures of the gospel.
