Picnic Details: Come with your small group, your family or both. Aspen Ridge will provide Kentucky Fried Chicken and some drinks; please bring your favorite sides to share, a frisbee and a blanket or chairs for your family.
Rediscover Church
September kicked-off Rediscover Church, a sermon series based on the book by the same name (copies available at church). We all know Covid impacted the church. Now, however, we see God reawakening people back to church. We will join God’s good work and encourage each other and our neighbors to Rediscover Church!
We also kicked off the Rediscover Church Ministry Campaign. This is our church-wide commitment to prayer, giving and service that primarily focuses on Grace Hills – the church plant in Indian Hills. Our goal is to cover their ministry in prayer, help fund their startup costs and seed their congregation with our own families who might serve there.
In the past few years, God has been preparing Indian Hills – moving people in and out, softening hearts and readying them for Grace Hills. In addition, God has rallied Converge and Aspen Ridge Church to sponsor them. Now, He has called the Mackey family from Kansas City to this ministry. God has been busy – and we’re joining Him.
The Church Picnic is for you!
This will be your chance to meet Marcus and Kayla Mackey. You can visit Grace Hills – which is right next door to the park – in an open house that will let you put a building, a family and the face of a neighborhood to this discussion. Enjoy Colorado with your family and enjoy your church as we all get together.
Next week we will talk more about what commitment will look like from Aspen Ridge and your family. But this week, open your heart and see with your own eyes the neat things God is doing around us. Offer some encouragement, enjoy Colorado and have some fried chicken.
