“I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4
Bible Study for All began in September 2020 as a response to the Covid shut down.
The organizers were motivated by Hebrews 10:25, “Do not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” A safe, comfortable setting was established that allowed for in-person fellowship and an on-line option which made the Bible Study truly available to all.
Our main class offers groups for men and women and meets on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30 pm at Aspen Ridge Church. We offer classes for children of all ages during this time. Arrangements can also be made to participate in off-site groups or at other times.
This year we are using curriculum published by Workmen of the Word for our in-depth study of Psalms, Job, and 1 & 2 Peter. Our theme is “Faith over Fear”. Each lesson is formatted with 5 sections of questions that take about 15 minutes per day. When we gather on Wednesdays, we start with a worship song, discuss the lesson and pray in our groups, then the meeting closes with a summary teaching on the Scripture passage.
Our teaching leaders this year are Kathy Lewis, Heidi Shelpuk Barnett, and Kristen Park.
We hope you will join us for this encouraging study of the Word of God!
