Small Groups
We believe that small groups are an important part of building a true, caring community of believers. It gives us a chance to get to know each other better while digging deeper into God’s Word. The incredible opportunities to learn, pray and help each other in our small groups lead to lasting friendships, a deeper and more exciting walk of faith and a greater impact in our own lives and beyond, to those around us. Join a small group!
During the summer, many of our regular small, groups take a break, but we have some “interest groups” that take over the terrain. We’ve got groups geared towards golfing, hiking, Jeeping, volleyball and fishing, to name a few.
The Bridge
Sessions generally coincide with the introduction of a new sermon series and meet on campus. This class is for those who may be new to the body, with an interest in the church and where their gifts may fit within the body. If you are interested in knowing more about Aspen Ridge Church, or would like to “plug in,” but you need help deciding where that may be, this is the place for you! Contact the church office to get more information on session dates.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
At MOPS, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood. We build circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own cities, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of being a mom. This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways.
Aspen Ridge MOPS meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 9:15 AM (during the school year) on the church campus. Please contact the group directly for more info.
Bible Study for All (BSA)
Our main class offers groups for men and women and meets on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30 pm at Aspen Ridge Church. We offer classes for children of all ages during this time. Arrangements can also be made to participate in off-site groups or at other times.
This year we are using curriculum published by Workmen of the Word for our in-depth study of Psalms, Job, and 1 & 2 Peter. Our theme is “Faith over Fear”. Each lesson is formatted with 5 sections of questions that take about 15 minutes per day. When we gather on Wednesdays, we start with a worship song, discuss the lesson and pray in our groups, then the meeting closes with a summary teaching on the Scripture passage. Visit our BSA page to register and learn more about our group.
PRECEPTS
